Fishing Boats at Fisherman's Terminal

IMG_0040.JPG

Story: I was biking around Magnolia today and stopped by Fisherman's Terminal for some fish and chips. I'd biked on the specific dock that these boats are docked at before, but I hadn't viewed it from this angle. What caught my eye is all the boats lined up together, facing me. Different colors, different shapes, but all cool boats. And then this ominous cloud overhead, with the weather seeming to turn to shit on me. I love clouds, and love boats, so I thought it could be a cool shot.

What feeling did I want to capture? More school-boy excitement about boats than anything else. And the fact that these are the boats that catch the fish we eat in restaurants and buy from the grocery store. These boats go up to Alaska, with the fishermen on them working really hard. And yet here they are docked right now. With a storm approaching.
